Governance Manager
Tongaat Hulett Botswana is seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to fill the role of Governance Manager. This senior management position reports directly to the General Manager and offers a strategic platform for impactful leadership. Purpose of the Position
To implement, embed, and continuously improve the Group’s Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), Governance, and Insurance frameworks at a country level. This role ensures effective identification, evaluation, mitigation, and reporting of key risks; ensures policy compliance and governance alignment with Botswana legislation and THB standards; and manages the country’s insurance portfolio to safeguard people, assets, and operations. The role plays a critical part in aligning local risk, insurance, and governance practices with Group standards while ensuring they are fit-for-purpose in the country’s regulatory and business context.
